An at-home session can be so much more comfortable than you imagine. You don’t need a big, luxury house—what you already have is more than enough, trust me. If it feels like there isn’t much space, let’s simply get closer together. Hugs before the holidays sound like the perfect idea. Worried about not having enough light? We can prepare with lamps and candles—they’ll bring that cozy holiday glow and solve the problem beautifully.
What matters most to me is that years from now, you’ll be able to look back and see where you and your children truly lived—capturing the real moments of your life. Not perfect (no one’s life ever really is), yes, but the most beautiful and unique kind—absolutely.
I imagine you all cuddled on the couch, or maybe baking cookies, sharing a pie, sipping tea or coffee while the kids enjoy some cocoa. A park session is the perfect option when you’re craving more space and your family needs a breath of fresh air.
I love offering sessions in one of my very favorite parks—a place I truly trust and know well, since it’s just steps away from where we live. It’s our family’s favorite spot, and my son’s too, so in a way, it’s a location well tested by a very active toddler. What I love about it is the wide green lawns, gentle hills, and beautiful trees. There are no distractions here—just you and your emotions, with nature as the backdrop.
I’ll bring along a few cozy blankets for you to choose from, and you’re welcome to bring anything that feels right for your holiday photos. It could be as simple as blankets, or maybe you’d like to add Christmas decorations, mugs with coffee in a thermos, pastries, or even candies. Whatever feels most like you—you’re more than welcome to bring it along. But above all, please don’t forget to bring your love—that’s the most important part!

We had never done a photo shoot prior to working with Xenia.
